THE POSITION:

StonePlace is looking for a motivated individual wanting to learn about this rapidly growing industry in the role of a Technical Sales Associate/Assistant Manager of our Kitchener Location.

Responsibilities:

• Technical sales of hardscape products to contractors and DIY homeowners
• Project design assistance and estimation of materials required
• Installation instruction and advice
• Merchandising product displays
• Assist Manager with supervision of all activities and performance of team to ensure they work in a safe, efficient manner with a customer service focus
• Identifying and targeting prospective customers
• Coordinating with other location(s) to ensure corporate goal are met
• Promoting the organization and products
• Administrative duties as required

 

Requirements:

• Experience in sales and supervision of team
• Experience in customer relationship management
• Experience managing, motivating and directing a team
• Landscape knowledge an asset
• Some accounting or bookkeeping knowledge an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Dedication to providing great customer service
