Landscape Labourer Position

Mississauga, Oakville and Burlington

 

Work Hours:

Monday-Friday 10 hour days with occassion weekends 

 

Pay Scale: 20.00-25.00/Hour

To be determined based on experience

 

Typical work environments include:

 

• Excavation a variety of interlocking stone paving and retaining walls
• Grading, laying pavers and walls
• Plant & Tree installation - transplanting
• Opportunity for product training and workshops

 

Essential Responsibilities:

 

• Review daily landscaping plans and implements the landscape construction plan
• Daily monitor of all tools, equipment and machinery for needed maintenance
• Combination of lifting stone and heavy objects
• Ability and confidence to operate hand tools ex. concrete saw
• Trustworthy using company vehicle to pick up needed supplies at local and other regional suppliers and/or deliver supplies to job site.

  

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license/driving abstract to be added to company vehicle insurance
• Reliable transportation to and from all job sites
• Must have safety footwear and prepared to work in variety of weather conditions
• Machine operation and knowledge of tools
• Commitment to work Monday to Friday
• Able to work as a team player but also independently
• Commitment to work for 2021 Season with opportunity to secure position for 2022
