We take pride not only in maintaining property, but also in maintaining relationships.
Grounds Maintenance Crew Leader:
You will be responsible for the day to day supervision of a grounds maintenance crew and must be proficient in all aspects of grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, plant ID, tree and shrub care and snow and ice management. This position is full time hourly with benefits.
Pay range $20-25 per hour.
For this position, you must be self-motivated, have good people and organizational skills, professional attitude and appearance, and a good driving record. You must have 3-5 years’ experience leading a crew and be looking for a career in the Green Profession.
You have the following training and education:
• You have your grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Supervisory training is an asset.
Your duties will include the following:
• Leading, coaching and motivating crews
• Basic turf knowledge
• Plant identification
• Operating small maintenance equipment including Walkers, Trimmers and Pruning equipment.
• Snow clearing operations in winter
This is a full time position providing 40-60 hours of employment per week, paying $20 – 25 per hour. Health and dental benefits available.
