Landscaping Installer

We are seeking a professional Landscaping Installer who brings forth a minimum 2 years of residential and or commercial hardscape experience with retaining walls, pavers, landscape structures and grading. The successful candidate will be a dedicated and creative professional who is proud of the landscapes they create and maintain. This is a flexible fulltime permanent position that offers competitive wages along with a health spending account. Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery, grade, install and cut interlocking pavers
- install retaining walls and armour stones
- Operate heavy equipment
- Hardscape / Softscape installations
- Install landscape projects
- Site preparation, skid steer operations, mini excavator experience
- Read plans, elevations, take offs
- Manage crew
- Train crew members in proper landscape construction techniques
- Construction shop and yard housekeeping
- Winter snow removal
- Other tasks as assigned
- Keep company vehicle and protective equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
- Concrete demolition, prep and forming for patios and walkways
Job Requirements
- Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to new procedures
- Can meet the physical demands of working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Previous work experience in landscaping, hardscape, horticulture, gardening, and construction
- Valid BC Driver’s License & clean driving record
- Proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers
- Experience with hardscape materials and their installation practices.
- Self-motivated, thrives in fast moving environments, and able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines
- Steel toed boots and safety gear
- Have a professional, positive and energetic attitude
- Experience in working with building specifications, drawings and designs an asset
