Sheridan Nurseries’ Landscape Design Services Department is actively searching for:
Landscape Designers
We are looking for experienced landscape designers to assist our guests on various sized projects beginning in Spring 2021. Designers are required to make their own appointments and travelling to design sites is also a requirement. Communication with our design guests, garden centres and our authorized contractors is essential.
Accountabilities
Connects with clients and sets up appointments in a timely manner. Collects all monies derived from the consultation. Provide sketches, plant lists and estimates on projects. You will be responsible to contact contractors to coordinate installations and completion of projects. Designers must provide bi-weekly status reports to the Landscape Design Services Office.
Skills Required
Must be knowledgeable in residential landscape design. Position requires excellent communication skills and ability to provide superior customer service. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Must be well organized - attention to detail is essential. Looking for someone who is adaptable and enjoys working independently with various guests. Must have knowledge of plant material and be sales driven.
