The position requires a self-disciplined person who can handle all of the details included in the day-to-day operations. It is a hands-on position and you will need to work in the field. Good communication skills and the ability to motivate people are a must!

Job Characteristics

Faster than average pace, ability to learn quickly, thoroughly, and in detail.

Strategic, big-picture thinking backed by an added focus on the tactical aspects of the work with some action-oriented collaboration required occasionally. 

Hands-on knowledge of landscaping equipment, machines, and plow trucks/salters.

Requires great communication skills with staff to train, encourage and motivate.

Maintains control over the overall agenda, including crews in a task-oriented manner.

Understand budgets, forecasting, job-costing, and industry expectations.

Requirements

Must have at least 5 years of landscape design/build, maintenance, and winter operations.

Must have at least 3-5 years of supervisor/managing experience in the landscaping industry.

Clean drivers abstract and G license.

LMN Knowledge is an asset.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the day-to-day operations.

Arranging daily schedules.

Hiring, training, and motivating employees.

Managing all residential and commercial sites (maintenance)

Manging our landscape design/build division.

Estimating services for our maintenance division.

Meeting with customers and property managers.

Keeping crews on track and meet safety standards.

Winter duties will include plowing and salting.

Monitor weather conditions, work in conjunction with the management team.

Fulltime / Year-round position

Includes a company truck and benefits

Salary $60,000-$75,000/per year (depending on experience).
