LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION REQUIRES YOU TO
- Be actively involved in all aspects of the landscape application process – taking from raw soil to creating eye-catching landscape designs.
- Assist operators in final grading process to level soil.
- Plant trees, use a wheelbarrow to move material (mulch and sod etc.), manual levelling of soil and stone
- Unload, handle and place rolls of sod
- Maintain a safe jobsite by removing debris
QUALIFICATIONS and CAPABILITIES
- Valid G Driver’s License and own vehicle
- Ability to work Monday to Friday and ½ day on Saturday (full Saturday, as needed)
- Can be relied upon to arrive at work on time, following verbal direction
- Ability to communicate in the English language
- Prior work experience specific to landscape labour in a construction setting
- Ability to work in a face-paced environment and lift up to 50 bls repeatedly
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools
- Ability to work outdoors in the sun, heat, humidity, rain, cold, dust and noise
WAGE RANGE: $16.00 to $18.00
