We are a team of friendly and motivated individuals who take pride in maintaining exceptional outdoor spaces for an amazing group of high-end residential and commercial clients across Ottawa. Our focus is in professional property maintenance.
We’re looking for energetic, fun and hard-working team players to join our family. We will teach you all the skills and techniques necessary to do a great job. Past experience is certainly an asset but is not required. If you’re able and willing to learn, we are able and willing to train you!
Our season runs from April to December. Team Leaders meet every day at the shop in Carlsbad Springs and drive company vehicles from there to Saint Laurent Shopping Centre to meet their crew.
Duties include:
- Managing a team of 2-3 gardeners to do spring clean up of gardens, garden bed maintenance, create new landscapes, garden overhauls, planting, pruning and fall garden closings
- Driving the company vehicle to job sites
- Interacting with clients using
- Creating a positive and friendly team atmosphere
- Ensuring team and client safety by following company safety policies and procedures
- Training industry horticultural best practices to the team as required
Successful candidates will:
- Demonstrate the ability to lead teams, problem solve and manage time effectively
- Have a friendly disposition and a positive attitude
- Be dependable, accountable and an effective communicator
- Have an Ontario Drivers Full G License with a clean abstract
- Enjoy working outdoors in a team setting
- Be willing to work full-time; five days a week
