Who we are and what we do...
We are a Landscape Design and Installation Company...Located in Strathroy (April - December).
We are a Retail Garden Center and Landscape Supply yard...located in Strathroy (April - October).
Job Type
* Full time and Part time (seasonal)
* Starting wage will be $16.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on your work experience)
* 5 days per week (7am - 5pm) (Mostly weekdays)
Qualifications/Skills/Assets
* No qualifications necessary...however...Landscape experience will be an asset
* Experience operating equipment, Landscape tools, operating trucks and trailers
* Installing fence and deck
* Installing rocks, aggregates, interlocking brick, and artificial turf
* Planting trees, trimming, watering, weeding, laying sod, operating a wheel barrel
* Loading landscape materials (soil, mulch, stone with a loader)
* Plant knowledge an asset
* Ability to work with others (crew/team) will be an asset
* Enjoy Working outdoors
Roles Available
* Crew Leader - Run a Landscape Construction Crew
* Landscape Laborer - Assist with daily operations on a Landscape Construction Crew
* Delivery Driver (Minimum G2 licence required)
Environment
* Working outdoors, warm and cold, and sometimes in the rain
* Handling heavy loads
* Repetitive tasks
* Physically demanding work
* Standing for extended periods, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling
