Position: Lawn Maintenance Lead Hand
Location: Waterloo, ON
Pay: $21-24 per hour (Benefits after 3 months)
Job Duties:
Lawn Maintenance Lead Hand related to the landscape gardening industry. The position of Lawn Maintenance Lead Hand will involve assisting in the daily management of maintenance projects for Oakridge Landscape Contractors. This position also includes the use of numerous types of related equipment.
Key duties include:
- Assisting foreperson in managing a crew of 3-5 people
- Mowing grass
- Flower bed maintenance
- Pulling weeds
- Trimming
- Raking
- Pruning
- On occasion, drive company pickup and trailer
Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License “G” is required
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- 3 – 5 years field experience
- Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work long hours
- Tolerance to various weather conditions.
