Position: Lawn Maintenance Foreperson
Location: Waterloo, Ontario
Pay: $25-30 per hour (Benefits after 3 months)
Job Duties:
Lawn Maintenance Foreperson related to the landscape gardening industry. The position of Lawn Maintenance Foreperson will involve assisting in the daily management of maintenance projects for Oakridge Landscape Contractors. This position also includes the use of numerous types of related equipment.
Key duties include:
- Managing a crew of 3-5 people
- Mowing grass
- Flower bed maintenance
- Pulling weeds
- Trimming
- Raking
- Pruning
- Drive company truck and trailer
Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License “G” is required
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Minimum of 5 years field experience and 3 years crew management
- Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits
- Willingness to take appropriate classes in order to upgrade the knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work long hours and the occasional Saturday
- Tolerance to various weather conditions
