Responsibilites:

  • welcome and identify customer needs
  • explain products and services to customers
  • monitor inventory to ensure products is in stock
  • enter and process customer orders
  • investigate and resolve customer complaints
  • loading and unloading shipments and deliveries

Qualifications:

  • previous experience in garden centre retail sales, landscaping or horticulture related fields
  • possess strong customer service skills
  • able to handle heavy loads up to 50 lbs and repetitive tasks including bending, crouching, standing, walking, and kneeling for extended periods of time
  • ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to build rapport with customers
  • enjoy working outside regardless of the weather
  • possess a passion for plants and gardening
