LANDSCAPE FOREMAN

Glen Echo Nurseries, located in Caledon East, is looking for a Landscaping Foreman to join it's team. The successful candidate will have experience with operation of a crane truck, excavator plus have knowledge of trees & plant material. The applicant must be physically capable to perform landscaping/planting duties and have strong leadership skills. They must be prepared to work in all types of weather conditions. Wages range from $25.00 to $27.00.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a work crew to perform daily landscaping jobs
- Work with the Project Manager to review requirements and progress on jobs
- Capable to deliver job on time and on budget
- Ensure crew's equipment is well-maintained
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with tree planting an asset
- Experience with operating a crane truck, excavator etc.
- DZ license (AZ preferred)
- Some plant knowledge required
- Capable to work in a team environment
