Landscape Supervisor

Garlatti Landscaping is hiring a Landscape Supervisor. Must have experience.
- Experience in ball and burlap tree planting as well as shrubs and perennials
- Responsible for site/crew safety
- Responsible for crew production and hitting targets
- Assist with labour required to plant trees, shrubs, perennials, etc. including hand digging and lifting buckets of mulch and soil
- Experience in interlock, natural stone, retaining walls, planting, low voltage lighting, irrigation systems, ponds & waterfalls, fencing, decks, pergolas & plant identification an asset
- Ability to interpret landscape drawings, then able to prepare site layout and grading.
- Experience operating skid steer and mini excavators.
- Mechanically inclined and able to perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work extended hours and Saturdays as required
- Ability to float equipment via trailer an asset
- Any and all duties as requested
- Snow Removal in plow truck or Large Tractor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years experience in the landscaping field or other constriction roles leading a crew
- Supervisor training considered an asset
- First aid training considered an asset
- Valid G class driver's licence
- AZ or DZ licence considered an asset
- Team player
- Able to work long hours in extreme seasonal conditions
- High School Diploma
- Demonstrated history of safe work practices
