North Star Landscaping Inc is a family owned and operated business established in 1977. For the past 46 years we've been providing our customers in the GTA with exceptional lawn maintenance, landscape construction, snow services and fiberglass pool installations. We are fully insured, WSIB and Covid 19 compliant.
We are looking for people who love working outdoors. We have positions in both Lawn Maintenance (Crew Leader and Labourers) as well as Landscape Construction (Crew Leader and Labourers). Our rates are competitive: $18.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on your experience and ability. All positions need to have a valid G Driver's License and clean driver's abstract.
These are full-time positions with snow plowing and sidewalk maintenance available during winter months.
Lawn Maintenance Foreman applicants should have a minimum of 5 years field experience and have had experience managing a lawn maintenance crew. Lawn maintenance crew members should have at least 3 years actual lawn maintenance experience. Duties include: grass cutting using small engine mowers and tractor mowers, weed wacking, cultivating beds, hedge trimming, spreading and raking soil & mulches, planting, complete daily activity reports and time tickets. Our maintenance properties are in western Etobicoke and south Mississauga.
Landscape Construction Foreman applicants should have a minimum of 5 years field experience and have managed a crew. Landscape construction crew members should have at least 3 years actual landscape construction experience. Duties include: laying interlock, sod, planting trees and shrubs, demo of existing landscaping, deliver and spread soils, mulches, aggregates with rakes, shovels and wheel barrows, bobcat experience is an asset, complete daily activity reports and time tickets. Our projects are mostly in the GTA.
